Constitution Party meeting
in Arkansas a success!

March 14th marked an historic event in Arkansas! The Constitution Party of Arkansas met in Paragould to organize the state's 1st District. The meeting was a total success with twenty-three people in attendance. State Constitution Party leaders Tom Mayfield and Eldon Wright conducted the meeting. Tom Mayfield spoke on the Constitution and current events as well as plans for the Constitution Party of Arkansas to focus on local and state offices. Eldon Wright spoke about our responsibilites as citizens.

Many in attendance expressed concerns about the "unconstitutional things going on in government" and the need to change the direction that the country is headed.

Fourteen (14) people in attendance quit their old party and joined the Constitution Party of Arkansas.

Also attending the meeting were two representatives of the American Family Association. (Thanks to Tom Mayfield for the report)

Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Chuck Baldwin Fight Back

March 20th, 2009

This has been covered previously on the website. A Missouri Information Analysis Center report that designates supporters of Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Chuck Baldwin as potential militia-influenced terrorists. Baldwin appeared on the Alex Jones Show to talk about the issue.

The three politicians have collaborated on a letter that will be send to Missouri officials protesting the MIAC report. Baldwin stated that if the MIAC report is not fixed to get rid of the “absurd” claims, the three signatories of the letter will consider legal action

D-Day (Demand Day) Rally

When: Thursday, March 26, 2009
1:00 to 2:30

What: Constitution Party of MO will participate in the “D-Day (Demand Day) Rallies to be held at America’s State Capitals

Where: 3rd Floor Rotunda, State Capital
Jefferson City, MO

TOPIC:
The Federal government is out of control and unresponsive to the people of these United States. Congress has repeatedly encroached upon the rights of the people and the States in clear violation of the Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the United States Constitution. They have not honored the provisions of Article 4: Section. 4. of the Constitution by failing to “guarantee to every State in this union a Republican Form of Government” and “protect each of them against invasion.”

The Founding Fathers believed (as outlined in the Federalist Papers) the state legislatures were to be the first line of defense for the people of these United States against the Federal governments attempts at exercising rights not given to them by the Constitution or in violation of constitutional authority. The purpose of these D-Day or Demand Day rallies at the various state capitals is to bring a groundswell of pressure upon our state governments. We will demand the state governments serve notice to the Federal government, that these usurpations or encroachments will not be tolerated.
