Mary Starrett Comes Home (Almost) For Appearance At
Spring 2009 Constitution Party National Committee Meeting!

Mary Starrett

The Spring 2009 Constitution Party National Committee Meeting, scheduled for June 11-13, in Newark, New Jersey will mark a "homecoming" of sorts for Constitution Party Communications Director, Mary Starrett, as it will bring her back to within miles of the area where she grew up. Mary, who now resides in Oregon and who was the Constitution Party nominee for Governor of that state in 2006, was raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her father, Ken was one of the founders of the New York State Conservative Party in the late 60’s. Mary remembers John Birch Society meetings in the basement of the family home in Bay Ridge.

Mary graduated Cum Laude from Emerson College in Boston, Mass, worked at network affiliate television stations for over 20 years, starting at WCVB TV in Boston, as a news writer, WGHP TV, High Point, Greensboro, NC as a news anchor, KVOS TV, Bellingham WA as a news anchor, and at KATU TV, Portland Oregon as a morning talk show host and host of a nightly feature magazine program. Well know for having the courage of her convictions and for her dogged determination to stand up for her principles and for the truth, Mary was fired, after 17 years at ABC affiliate KATU, for “using the program as a forum for (her) beliefs”.

After that, Mary hosted a weekday drive time talk show at KPDQ Radio in Portland where she was also warned by station management not to “criticize” President George W. Bush’s policies as the station’s parent company Salem Broadcasting had “invested a lot of money to get him elected”. Undeterred by pressure from her "principals" and guided by her "principles," Mary courageously continued to criticize policies of President Bush, and as a result was relieved of her duties at KPDQ in January of 2006. Thereafter, Mary resumed her talk show at KFNX in Phoenix Az.

Mary has written on current events, political issues and the politics of health for various internet and newspaper outlets like the Portland Tribune , the Oregonian, and her articles currently can be found online at News with Views. (www.newswithviews.com)

The Constitution Party nominee for Oregon governor in 2006, Mary ran a very strong race which garnered a substantial amount of media attention, both inside and outside the state. Her candidacy was challenged in court by the Republican candidate in the race, who felt threatened by her candidacy, which among other things featured her strong and unapologetic support for the Right to Life. The GOP challenge to the Starrett candidacy was covered by Britt Hume’s Special Report on Fox News.

Without a doubt one of most respected and popular national Constitution Party personalities, Mary Starret became the party's Communications Director in January of 2006. She has done an outstanding job, through her tireless and relentless efforts, in bringing the news of the Constitution Party to people all over the country. A creative wordsmith, Mary has added imaginative and memorable terms, such as "Big Box Parties" (to label the Democrat and Republican Parties) and "battered voter syndrome" (to describe the voters who keep going back to them) to America's political lexicon. Blessed with beauty, charm, boundless energy, an indefatigable devotion to constitutional principles and traditional American values, and a wonderful sense of humor, Mary Starrett
is one of the finest and most entertaining speakers for freedom in America.

ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVE AND HAND OVER THAT GIFT CARD

by Mary Starrett
Constitution Party Communications Director

With the stage set for the choreographed pandemonium sure to follow the well-orchestrated flu pandemic, let’s sit back, adjust our facemasks and have a look at some of the recent insanity in our beleaguered homeland.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano took a break from defending the fatherland against pro-lifers and veterans long enough to warn Americans that the US should prepare for an “outbreak” even “if” the current flu “fizzles out.”

She used the words “fizzles out”…honestly. I tell you, they’re getting so bold in DC they’re don’t even bother to cover up their plans for us anymore.

After all, if they can call you and me “dangerous, right wing extremists” and get away with it, they can sure as blazes come right out and say this swine-bird-garden gnome flu thing is just a pump prime for what’s in store for us.

You’ve all heard the saying “build it and they will get sick” haven’t you?

Big Pharma Sanofi - aventis plans to build a brand spanking new 100 million Euro flu vaccine factory in Mexico. It’s just what the pharmaceutical lobby-global-elite ordered. In what can only be considered astoundingly astute future projection, the pharmaceutical giant’s CEO Chris Viehbacher said just three weeks ago:

"By building this new facility, Sanofi-aventis … is eager to support … pandemic readiness." This investment (shows our commitment to Mexico’s) local approach to global health.”

According to a Sanofi press release, the company has been “consistently investing in major expansions of its influenza vaccine production capacity in the United States, France, China, and now Mexico. With the production of more than 170 million doses of seasonal influenza vaccine in 2008, sanofi pasteur confirmed its global influenza vaccine market leadership.”

And what good fortune for Sanofi in this recession-riddled world to know they’ll have a captive customer base just lining up to roll up their sleeves for a jab of their toxic cocktail.

The Google searches are chock full of information about the United States’ long history of storing, replicating and manipulating viruses in Army labs. US phramaceutical giants make millions from toxic vaccines, in the end blaming the flu du jour for deaths that actually resulted from the poisonous vaccines themselves. And the only immunity in all this is what our Congress has guaranteed by smoothing the way with zero-liability provisions for their pals in pharmaland.

The timing of this “outbreak” is suspect on any number off fronts. It can be considered a diversion for a host of national issues that are not holding up so well under scrutiny like Barack Obama’s eligibility status, the torture memos, his push to continue unconstitutional wars, his move to have the US commit economic hara kiri, his cavorting with Marxists and Islamists and his cabinet members’ increasingly hard-to-defend integrity issues.

Obama-as-leader-of-global-community cannot implement his destructive agenda fast enough. His to-do list includes the overseeing of the reduction in population so important to those zany globalists. In the middle of all his other pet projects like doing an end run around the 2nd amendment and blaming it on Mexican cartels, our president calls on America’s young people to “give back” by signing on for his version of Hitler Youth. All the while screaming for remedies for “global warming” as national sovereignty slips away.

Meanwhile, Senator Joe Lieberman, who chairs the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs met with Arizona Republican senators John McCain and Jon Kyle to discuss border violence. Lieberman’s solution? Spend more money screening those leaving the U.S. Uh, Joe, wrong way… how about those millions who enter the US each year to rob, rape, shoot cops and drain the national coffers?

In addition to that brilliant fix, Lieberman backed up Az Attorney General Terry Goddard in his solution to the Mexico problem…. Tighten federal rules for…. gift cards!

You really can’t make this stuff up, I’ve come to realize. Goddard, a good little foot soldier for the cashless society crowd reasons that “stored value cards” help launder money.

Meanwhile, over at the Arizona statehouse, Republican state senator Carolyn Allen had this to say about federal stimulus money: “If they’re going to give it out, then I think we should take it because our taxpayers’ money is going to be spent someplace. It’d be foolish to let some other state have it.”

Might as well, huh? Hopefully, Americans are taking notes and will re- elect none of those who push ever increasing lunacy on us, instead vetting each candidate based on voting record and adherence to the Constitution. We have everything to gain and absolutely nothing to lose. © 2009 Mary Starrett - All Rights Reserved
